Hawaiian roller coaster ride

"'Ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten"- Lilo from Lilo and Stitch. While family typically refers to people who are connected by blood or marriage we also think that family are the people that mean the most to you.  While we might not be related by blood we are family anyway; we care for each other and through thick and thin will be there for one another. Lilo and Stitch is one of those heartfelt Disney movies you can't help but love, just like our sweet Rae. We chose our outfits based on the end scene where Lilo, Stitch and Mrytle are all dancing together. Keep scrolling to see what we did on this hawaiian roller coaster ride!

We hope you enjoyed reading about our Lilo and Stitch inspred adventures. We had a blast putting these outfits together and dancing around the park. Lilo and Stitch holds such  a special place in all of our hearts. As a matter of fact, Lilo and Stitch has always been one of Paola's favorite movies in fact she dressed up as Lilo and performed the hula in front of her class when she was in grade school! We love how passionate Lilo was in everything she did from hula to feeding Pudge peanut butter sandwiches. We love how Lilo looks for the best in people, but also sticks up for herself. We want to be more like Lilo and hope you do too!

Who's the fairest of them all?

Skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, hair as black as ebony might not define us but it does define the inspiration for these looks! Snow White was Walt’s original princess meaning she has a special place in our heart. We have always loved the way Snow's makeup looked and thanks to Besame Cosmetics and Disney we can do our makeup like hers! Nothing makes us happier than princess inspired makeup; especially when it's a recreation of the original looks in the movie. This is a blog post we have been working on extra hard and we hope you love it! Keep reading to see our thoughts and looks inspired the amazing Snow white collection from Besame cosmetics!

Snow White was one of the first cartoons to wear makeup. Not only did Snow wear makeup her makeup was actual makeup applied to each cell so that her cheeks were rosy in every single scene. Talk about mixed media, it definitely was a fresh and exciting new change and amplified her look completely!

EYES

The Keep Singing Palette is a collection of bright rich colors like red, blue, green and yellow. This palette also has a black and white which makes it easy to make a complete eye look. Each color is inspired by the art from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The cover is art from "Whistle While You Work". We would consider these shadows to be more satin than any other type of formula. The formula is buttery and smooth. Each shadow can be built up and are easily blend able.
This palette includes Huntsman (grey), White as Snow (white), The Fairest (light beige), Destiny (yellow), Once Upon a Time (royal blue), Witch (black), Forest (olive green), Apple (red)

♡

The I'm Wishing Palette is a majority pastel palette with blue, grey, brown, and pink. Each color was inspired by the original art from the movie! This palette can make a simple everyday look or a going out look. The cover art is a never before seen still from the wishing well scene! Much like the other palette in this collection this palette is full of buttery shades. Each of these shades are easy to blend and manipulate to make an eye look. This palette has a more diverse range of formulas than the first including four matte shades.
This palette includes Mirror Mirror (grey), I Wish (dusty rose), Kindness (darker blue), Wishing Well (Medium brown), So Fair (Ivory), Nice Things (light blue/grey), Hoping (light taupe), Your Majesty (light rose)

LIPS
L-R (Love's First Kiss, Snow White, Make a Wish)

Lipstick- Make a Wish

Make a Wish is a coral lipstick that works well on every skin tone. This shade is the perfect "nude" type lipstick shade. Like many other lipsticks we have tried from Besame this one goes on smooth and pigmented.

Lipstick- Snow White Red

Snow White Red is a universally flattering red. This lipstick is the perfect blue base red, it is Paola's new everyday lipstick.  This lipstick is so pigmented that with just one swipe you get color pay off.

CHEEKS

This cream rouge is a coral color that is super blend-able and suitable on all skin tones. We love the way this coral color looks on each of us and how easy it is to apply. You can use a brush or your finger (We like to apply it to the cheek with the finger then blend it out with a brush).

REVIEW

Keep Singing Palette: This was the palette we thought we would use the least, as our eye looks tend to be more neutral colors on a regular basis. However we were pleasantly surprised by this palette. The color pay off was wonderful and easy to build up when needed, as shown by SinfulMUA, a look can easily be taken from day to night with just a slight color change. We definitely recommend this palette for those who aren't afraid of a little color and want something that will make their eyes pop. It is complimentary on all skin tones and provides a fun change, while still being reminiscent of the classic snow white look.

I'm wishing Palette: Now unlike its sister palette, this is the one we had dreamed of for months. Ever since they previewed the collection, we knew we simply had to get our hands on it. As you may have noticed from our posts, we definitely lean towards the more neutral eye look. We like how it pairs easily with any lip color and to be honest color still frightens us a bit when it comes to eye makeup. This palette did not disappoint because it brought neutrals but also bits of color that work perfectly together. This is the palette we find ourselves using the most and if you're a fan of neutrals we can't recommend it enough!

Make a wish: If you're a fan of that better than your lips look, this is the lipstick for you. While it has warm coral undertones, we both found that it was the perfect "nude" lipstick to add to our repertoire. It's our new go to coral shade, as it adds a touch of color without really looking like you are wearing lipstick. It's also the one color that looked almost exactly the same on both of us. Due to our vastly different skin tones that's something we don't see often but it was a very pleasant surprise. Its a very pigmented and smooth formula, and very matte as opposed to some of their other pink shades. As the snow white collection is limited edition we will definitely be stocking up on this one!

Snow white red: Everybody knows we're big  fans of red lipstick; our collection would truly baffle those who aren't red lipstick connoisseurs. As red lipstick makes up about 95% of our collection, we are no strangers to Besame's red lipsticks,as we own quite a few of them. However we never say no to trying a new red lipstick and this one did not disappoint! It's hands down the most universally flattering blue based red we have ever tried. It's Paola's new go to red for a reason, highly pigmented, rich formula with a matte finish. As far as red lipsticks go this one checks off all the boxes! If you're looking for the perfect red, we cannot sing it's praises enough!

With a smile & a song cream rogue: We usually tend to use powder blushes as we find the color payoff better, and we have  bit more control over it with the swipe of our brush. However we were very excited to try the cream rogue, as we had heard good things and wanted to try something a little different. We like how you can build up the color and that you can either use your fingers or a brush to add a bit of a rosy glow to your cheeks. It definitely shows up better for those with lighter skin tones, but for just a touch of color you can't go wrong with it. It was definitely the product we were most happily surprised with and use on the days we just want a little extra color.

We can't thank Besame and Disney enough for the opportunity to try out these amazing products, definitely our favorite collaboration yet. We loved being able to experiment with these new products and can honestly  recommend every one of them.

Now while we received these products in collaboration with Besame c/o Disney we want to stress how all thoughts, opinions and views are strictly our own.

We hope you enjoyed this review of the snow white line, while these are just some of the amazing products from the line these are quite easily our favorites. We spent a little extra time working on this blog post, trying out all the products aside from this shoot to bring you our most accurate and honest thoughts possible. We are definitely still makeup novices but we know that no one does vintage inspired makeup better than Besame!  Especially when you add Disney in, you simply can't go wrong. This was a line we spent months coveting and we are so honored that Besame c/o Disney let us try it out. Snow White is such a classic quintessential movie and we truly felt like princesses using these makeup products. If you try the products we'd love to hear your thoughts on them and even any suggestions on what we should try next.

We would like to give a special thanks to  HellKat Retroworks for the amazing photography for this blog post and Sinfulmua for making us look like the fairest of them all! We had such a wonderful time working with the both of them and if you are ever in the Orlando area, we cannot recommend them enough.
