Tale as old as time

Do you dream of Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, or a prince in disguise? We dream of some of those things, mostly far off places on a regular basis.(Especially when mid term week comes around). So we decided to go to France, or the closest we could get anyways  at EPCOT, to celebrate the new movies release and our deep love for all things Beauty and the Beast. You know us here at thehepburnmovemnt simply can't resist a themed dress up day,and this was no exception. We decided to wear outfits inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast, we went with our personal favorites and added our own personal flair (after all thats what Disney bounding is all about)! We debuted these disneybounds at Disney World with our friend Katie (the dressed up dame) and our new friend Rachel (daily.disney.dreaming). Nothing brings us pinup princesses together quite like Disney and we can't wait for more adventures together!

The outfits we chose to recreate were the original blue dress, Belle's winter outfit, Belle's ball gown, and the new blue dress! We wore these outfits to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT in celebration of the new movie! We met both Belle and Gaston on our trip! There's no denying the huge influence that Disney has on our lives, so there was no question that we'd dress up in honor of the new movie. Beauty and the Beast has a special place in our hearts, Belle is one of our favorite heroines because of her fearlessness, her independence, loyalty and courageousness. She proves that a princess is more than just her pretty looks and doesn't let anyone pigeon hole her anywhere.  Just like us she wants adventure in the great wide somewhere and refuses to take no for an answer.  Her selfless kindness and fierce spirit make this movie one we'll love until we're ripe with old age. We are so incredibly excited to share this day with you, celebrating one of our favorite movies of all time.

More than this provincial life

We hope you enjoyed this week's "Disney Days" blog post, as Beauty and the Beast is a movie near and dear to our hearts we knew we simply HAD to dress up for it! While this live adaptation may be far different that what we imagined,(we're looking at you Mrs.Potts), we  still are incredibly excited to see it and applaud the new movie (and Disney) for continuously breaking down barriers and creating relatable characters. We truly believe that Disney is for anybody and EVERYBODY, so we are glad to see Disney showcasing more diversity in every shape and form. We are excited to see how disney brings one of our favorite princesses to life! We look forward to many more adventures with our friends, including the new ones we met along the way! Are you as excited as we are about the new movie?!
