Bippidi boppidi boo!

Its the most magical time of the year for us vintage loving disney folks! Why it's dapper day of course! The  weekend long event where our pumpkins turn into carriages for two days until the clock strikes midnight. Where we have our fairy god mothers concoct the most perfect outfits for this momentous occasion, and we dress to the nines for the best ball of all! What is dapper day you may ask? Well if you've been following us for awhile, you'll remember our posts from spring's dapper day. If not well, allow us to refresh your memories! Dapper day(s), since it is now a weekend event here at WDW, is the perfect weekend to show your love of the by gone eras. While it is not an official Disney event, it has gained much publicity over the years and is regarded as one of the best events of the year (at least we'd like to think so, and everyone who goes will agree!) Folks from all parts come to celebrate their love of vintage, retro inspired things, and all things dapper! There is no specific dress code or era to adhere by, and no true agenda. Most people just mosey around the parks in their Sunday's best, it's a great event for us to meet like minded individuals and make new friends. It's the event we look forward to all year long, and we can't wait to show you Day 1 of our dapper day looks!  So keep scrolling to see who we dressed as and some of the fabulous people we saw! Be sure to stay tuned for part 2, it's coming real soon.

Thankful for our princes

Many people are celebrating thanksgiving this week and showing gratitude for their loved ones, but us at thehepburnmovement have even more to be thankful for because it's our significant other's birthdays! You learned all about how we met these amazing men in a previous blog post, but you don't know the rest of the story! Much like Flynn and Rapunzel or Tiana and Naveen we got to know our prince, through trials and tribulations we fell in love. It was a gradual process with many musical numbers, outfit changes, and life altering decisions. Just like in the movies, we have found our prince charming and we want to celebrate the day they were born with all of you. After all nothing says "Happy birthday, I love you", quite like a blog post dedicated to you right?

We hope you enjoyed seeing some of our adventures with our princes! We dressed up as some of our favorite disney couples and we couldn't have celebrated in a better way. Nothing makes us happier than spending the day with our significant others at the happiest place on earth. We know that love works in mysterious ways, but we are sure glad these handsome men found their way into our lives. We are so thankful for them, so please join us in wishing them the happiest birthdays of all!  Take a page out of our book and don't look for "love at first sight", but  find someone you'd like to get to know, sing a few musical numbers, fight a few villains and love will surely blossom at the end of it.
