Breakfast at the Hepburns

You've heard us talk about our two greatest loves, Disney & Harry Potter, but not our biggest and greatest fashion inspiration. (I mean she's the namesake of our blog after all). We decided since it's her birthday there's no better time than now to show our undying love and admiration for her. She is and always will be a fundamental role model in our lives because of the genuinely amazing person she was. We look up to Audrey not only for her impeccable sense of style but also her remarkable personality.  Audrey Hepburn is an inspiration to us both (we promise its definitely not a cliché), our adoration for her is very deeply founded in every aspect of our lives. We have both seen the majority of her films and love her for them as well as the incredible humanitarian work that she did. She was more than just a pretty face, she strived to make a difference and leave a lasting impact on the world and that is why Audrey will forever live on as a lovely women with a huge heart! As you may have noticed, we enjoy sharing our love with others and were delighted to find out that our fellow princess friends share the same feelings about Audrey as we do. In fact, Anna,Kaitlyn and Katie all love Audrey very much. Together we are the ultimate fan girl team and we are not afraid to admit it.
Since we all shared such profound feelings for Audrey and NEEDED to celebrate her birthday we decided to do what we do best and have a tea party for it! We invited the other lovely ladies over for a tea party of sorts inspired by Audrey Hepburn. We say tea party of sorts since they aren't usually meal orientated , but we like to march to the beat of our own drums. We ate pancakes, potato wedges, sweets, drank tea and  played a few boardgames, but the best thing about our gathering was the dress code! We decided to play up one of her most famous movie titles as the theme of our breakfast and called it "Breakfast at the Hepburn's" (Everybody better get this one,or we've lost all hope). Now the reasoning behind the name doesn't end there, in fact we wanted the get together to celebrate some of Audrey's finest works and our personal favorites in honor of her birthday. Thus we decided to embody Audrey's style and chose iconic looks that were made famous by her in various different movies that she was in, from the little black dress to the turtleneck.
