Shoes as pure as gold

 We might not have a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood or hair as yellow as corn,but we do have shoes as pure as gold (glitter that is, and if you get the reference we adore you!). Have you noticed that we have the same shoes? We wear them too often? Well they are comfy and sparkly so it can't be helped! It's time for a long over due review on these bad boys. (I mean we wear them almost everyday so it was inevitable). These super cute t-strap shoes in gold glitter by bamboo are a perfect staple to any wardrobe! Yes you heard us right, glittery AND gold can be a fun addition, a basic staple to your wardrobe. They have some padding on the bottom which makes them comfortable to wear all day be it at school or at a theme park! (which we have done  both and can assure you they're the best shoes to wear EVER). These t-straps come in many colors Kirsten owns black, gold and silver and Paola owns gold! We decided to review these cuties with fun colorful outfits to show off just how versatile they really are! We both bought these shoes from Zulily and they only cost us $9.99 (not including shipping, that added a few dollars but we combined shipping so it wasn't too bad). The shoes themselves are an amazing buy, but unfortunately if you have ever bought anything from Zulily you know that their shipping takes AGES! The one issue with Zulily is their shipping, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons especially when you compare prices. Buying Bamboo flats on Amazon would cost around $20 therefore buying from Zulily is the better bargain. Without further ado let the review begin!

Glittery soles

Breaking these bad boys in was pretty simple and only a little bit painful, the first few hours you could get a blister or such but once they are broken in they are heavenly! (we aren't kidding about that comfort sole y'all). We both wear these shoes on an almost regular basis due to the versatility and comfort that you get from wearing them. They have adjustable straps which allow you to adjust how loose or tight of a fit you want. We found that these fit very true to size and would recommend going by your regular size. They are a nice light weight material & are nice and breathable for this Florida heat. Be fair warned that when we say Glittery gold we aren't exaggerating, a bit may even rub off on you the first few wears and have you looking like you were sprinkled with Pixie dust. (definitely not a bad look in our book but for those who aren't fans of it we wanted to give you a heads up). After the break in period the glitter does stop rubbing off and just keeps the shoes themselves looking sparkly and fabulous! We were big fans of the adjustable double strap feature it made them stand out from the usual t-straps and allowed us to adjust them to our own comfort. Comfy Soles are made by the company called Bamboo and they are indeed comfy soles! These shoes were such a big hit even minnie wanted to cameo to show that she approved. We can't recommend them enough, for color, design, comfort and versatility we give them a 10/10.

We hope you enjoyed our first shoe review, we definitely had a lot of fun picking outfits and show casing our love of all things that are glittery and gold. We know that they aren't your usual "staple" color shoe but that's what we love about them, they add a little extra pizazz to an other wise plain outfit. As you all know we aren't big on accessorizing, it's our weakest point that we're tying to work on (really we keep saying we will but don't do much, definitely a work in progress). These shoes are a way of breaking out of that comfort zone we've created and using them as accessories so to speak. Don't be afraid to try that loud or bold colored shoe, you'll be surprised just how much wear you'll be able to get it out of it once you try. Put a little color, a little oomph or even a little sparkle in your step because life is too short to stick to boring acceptable shoes all the time.
