So you think you're a wizard?

It is pretty common knowledge that we ALWAYS dress to the nines, but recently we dressed to the 9 and 3/4. (See what we did there? let the harry potter references begin!). As you all know we are Pinup Princesses, but we also happen to be die hard Harry Potter fans! We have read ALL the books, seen all the movies, and own way too much memorabilia. We are just a little obsessed, but we keep it close and don’t show it off too much (I mean our disney obsession alone can be abit much for people haha). Recently our group grew to include a couple more Potterheads and we got a chance to let our love shine through, Valentina being a Gryffindor and Reanne being a Hufflepuff joined us on our latest adventure! Now our group includes one Ravenclaw (Kirsten), two Gryffindors (Paola and Valentina) and three Hufflepuffs (Kaitlyn, Anna, and Reanne) all we need is a Slytherin! (No seriously if you are a slytherin and want to join our girl gang,please come forward we NEED you).

We all recently got to explore a magical place, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for an event called “dressed to the 9 and 3/4” in which people dress up and explore the parks (but all in a Harry Potter theme, unbeknownst to the muggles of course). Since we have already done house bounds (here), we decided to pretend we were going to the Yule Ball! We had an absolutely incredible time and truly felt like we were going to a ball, well an outdoor one with roller coasters. Nonetheless it was an event to remember and we are so excited to finally be able to share pictures with you!

Dressing the way that we do often garners strange looks or even stranger compliments from muggles but this time around we were met with nothing but compliments and curiosity (everyone wanted to know the answer to the age old question, "What are you all dressed up for"?). We replied with thank yous and a simple answer of "Its an event being held for all of us who enjoy the harry potter series, It's called Dressed to the 9 3/4s". We kept our wand waving to a minimum as most good wizards do and just smiled knowingly at one another, after all we can't give all our secrets away. We had an absolutely wonderful time letting our Harry potter side show and we expect many more Potterhead outings where this came from. However our group is missing one very crucial element and that's a Slytherin. We know slytherin's tend to get a bad rep but we promise that we are the loving and accepting kind of witches. We don't discriminate based on wizarding house, so if you're a slytherin and you'd like to join our fabulous girl gang please let us know! We want YOU to be a part of our magical group, and enjoy all the adventures with us. In all seriousness we hope you enjoyed our first and definitely not our last Harry potter themed event,we look forward to many more in the future!
