Where you lead,I will follow.

I know we talk about our two favorite Fandoms a lot BUT they aren't the only things we like, I can assure you that.(they just happen to be the ones we love most and we talk about them constantly as such.). Infact today's post is all about a fandom that I, Paola, am a huge raging and unapologetic nerd about. I not only grew up watching this show with my mom, which undoubtedly makes it that much more special but I grew up being shaped by everyone in stars hollow. Gilmore girls is one of those feel good classic shows you can't help but fall in love with, I've never met a person who hasn't liked it. I doubt that they can exist because it truly is that wonderful of a show. (If they do exist, I am definitely better off not knowing). Now my love of  Gilmore girls does not go unnoticed in my daily life, on the contrary it is so prominent that my dear friend Katie and I formed a special bond over it.

A bond so strong in fact that we woke up before the sun had even risen to pay homage to our favorite tv show in the history of all tv shows. Thus began my solo adventure with Katie aka thedressedupdame. Fueled by nothing more than blueberry ice coffee, adrenaline and unconditional love of Stars hollow and all its inhabitants we set off on a quest to make our dreams come true. Much like a circus act, this wonderful pop up event was in town for one day and one day only to commemorate the 15 year anniversary of Gilmore girls. Select coffee shops all across the 50 states, transformed into our very own "Luke's diner" to provide us with not only the best coffee around but a Star's hollow experience.

The grand tour of "Luke's"
Our corner of the world's "Luke's diner" was a bit of a drive away BUT they were pet friendly and well worth the trek.  Although the shop was a bit out of the way it was adorably and appropriately decorate for the occasion and it made the whole experience worthwhile. The baristas were incredibly kind and welcoming despite the early morning for such a wondrous event. Thankfully none of them embodied Luke's rather grumpy persona and made it a visit to remember (not that we don't love him despite it).We stood in line for over 2 hours just to get a cup of joe from Luke's and bask in a little bit of Gilmore girl goodness. Being the die hard fans that we are Katie and I embodied two well known Rory Gilmore outfits, complete with props and our very own Paul Anka to visit this little slice of heaven. We aren't sure which part of our trio everyone loved more, our outfits or  Minnie our very own "Paul Anka".

With a little more than 25 days left until the Gilmore girls revival, we were super excited to share these looks with you. There are few things in life that make us go full out fan girl mode and trust us when we say Gilmore girls is one of them. It was wonderful coming together with other fans from all over to divulge our inner nerdiness. Don't ever be afraid to love fully, with all your heart y'all regardless of how crazy it may seem. Fandoms deserve love too afterall! If you've got a fandom you're a die hard fan of, please do share it with us we'd love to learn more about your not so secret nerdy side too!
