Leap into spring with Reverefolie!

Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming and our earrings are dangling!  That's right, with the change of the seasons (or in our case just a slight weather change) we like to add more elements to our wardrobe. That's why this week's small business Sunday features a new kind of accessory, from an old favorite Reverefolie. We are huge fans of Reverefolie and the creator Angie has became a good friend, so when we had the chance to review some new earrings from her we practically leaped for joy. Now we usually aren't the dangle earring type, we actually tend to shy away from them because of our small and sensitive ears. They're usually a bit too heavy for our tastes, but Angie's blow every other pair we've tried out of the water. We honestly forgot we were wearing them half the time and found ourselves checking to make sure they were still there.

All earrings that Reverefolie sells are handmade with acrylic that is sourced around the world which is then cut into the shapes and glued together by Angie herself, the amount of effort that goes into each and every earring is astonishing! Each earring offered by Reverefolie is hypoallergenic, which is AMAZING! We both have very sensitive skin (Kirsten is allergic or sensitive to almost all metals and is only able to wear a few) and yet these earrings were perfect! We can wear them day in and day out! While we currently only own two pairs, we can assure you there are many more purchases in our future (our wish list is a mile long and we cant wait to start chipping away at it). Neither pair are very heavy, though the birds carry a bit more weight than the snowflakes but they are both comfortable enough for all day events!

Paola is wearing her Blue Bird earrings. These remind us of cinderella with their whimsical blue birds holding flowers in their little beaks. We can almost hear them whistling along to her happy tune and helping us prepare our outfits for the day. They are hoops attached to a stud and post back that are hypoallergenic. The bright white of the earrings juxtaposed against the pastel colors of the birds makes them incredibly versatile despite the limited color palette. They add the perfect fun and feminine touch to every outfit. They are incredibly light, although they carry a bit more weight compared to the snow flakes Kirsten is wearing. They don't drag or pull down on our ears like others have in the past and we can't wait to add more pairs to our collection.

Kirsten is wearing  the limited edition snow flake earrings that were released around christmas time. Have no fear if you've fallen head over heels in love with these, all hope is not lost. A little birdie told us that this style is making a come back, with a large array of colors so keep your eyes peeled for them! Just like the blue bird dangle earrings these are on a hypo allergenic stud/post back and incredibly light weight. These have a wonderful glittery surface,so they shine like true snow flakes. Every crystal shines and glitters when in the sun and we love the attention to detail put into them. Just like real snow flakes no two are exactly alike, making them all uniquely beautiful and eye catching.

Especially when they're as adorable and light weight as these are. It's safe to say that we've become dangle girls, so long as they're from Reverefolie that is! Keep your eyes peeled for the new things coming to Reverefolie! They are spreading their wings and adding items to the store that aren't just vintage inspired pieces, but also steampunk and gothic inspired! We are trying to talk Angie into making a Honey Bee inspired earring (you heard it here first) and if you think that is a great idea comment below!
