We've all heard the quote by now, florals for spring? How ground breaking. Regardless of whether you know where it's from or not, it highlights a trend in the fashion industry that never goes out of style. Florals are a quintessential a part of every brands spring collection. They never seem to get old, and they're a timeless design. Why florals were so popular in the 1950's, they're considered one of the most sought after prints now a days. That's right folks, this week's back to basics post is all about florals. While we love flowers ourselves, our wardrobes are severely lacking in the floral department. So that made this post a bit of a challenge, thus we enlisted the help of our friend Trisha for the occasion. So keep scrolling to see the three different ways we styled our floral print items and who inspired our looks.

Inspiration
Florals have been a huge part of fashion for decades, centuries even. They're the type of print that never gets old, because it can always be reintroduced in a completely new way. There's endless different type of florals to choose from, color schemes and patterns therefore the choices are endless. There's a floral pattern for everyone, even those who are wary of anything with flowers on it and want to start small. For this post we took inspiration from Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren because we love the way they styled their floral pieces and because we saw a little bit of each of us in them. While we all wore vintage for this post, you'll soon see how unique and refreshing every floral piece is. It just goes to show you that some things never go out of style for a reason.
