Stepping out in style with BAIT!

Our parents always told us to put our best foot forward and that's what we are doing on todays blog post! We are showcasing one of our favorite shoe brands, B.A.I.T. (But Another Innocent Tale) Footwear! B.a.i.t was founded in 2011 by designer Julie Kim. The shoe styles have a vintage feel while keeping up with the modern times. Read the About on B.a.i.t to learn more about Julie and how B.a.i.t came to be! While this isn't our first shoe review, it's definitely the first one we're most excited about. Simply because we have been obsessing over these shoes for awhile now, and couldn't believe we finally both got our hands on them.  We're stepping out in style with B.A.I.T today on the blog, so keep scrolling to see our review and plenty of pictures.

REVIEW

We are both wearing the Ione heels which are little kitten heels with a t-strap! They are $67 on the B.A.I.T. website (though we didn't pay that much! We shared our secret at the end of the post!)! The Ione shoes are 100% vegan and come in countless colors; Paola is wearing the black and Kyra is wearing the precious blue. The heels are 1 3/4" and wedge style which is perfect for us. Now we had to make sure these shoes were thehepburnmovement approved before posting them, so we have worn them multiple times to Disney since getting them and breaking them in. They are definitely our favorite "heel" type shoe to wear to the park. They give you a bit of height without the aching pain at the end of the day like most heels do.

We will admit that these shoes were not the easiest to break in but they were definitely worth it, we recommend walking around in them in your house for a couple days before wearing them out! The sizing is fairly true to size, Paola is wearing a 6 which is a tad big on her 5.5 size feet and Kyra is wearing a 9 which is perfect for her 8.5/9 size feet! We definitely recommend staying true to size and if you're in between like Paola tightening the straps all the way definitely helps them stay on and they aren't uncomfortably big.For quality, fit, style and color we give BAIT 9/10. Simply because we feel they should definitely offer these in more half sizes as we would love and wear them better that way, and we're sure you our dear readers would too. With that being said BAIT iones definitely are thehepburnmovement approved and we can't wait to try more styles.

We hope you enjoyed this week's spotlight post. B.A.I.T shoes are some of the most well known in the repro/vintage community simply because of how perfectly they encapsulate that vintage style, while providing a wide variety of sizes, colors and designs. There's a shoe for everyone from flats to boots! Now while we didn't pay for these shoes full price, we cannot sing their praises enough and will definitely invest in more. Now we found them for less because we wanted to try them out, but weren't sure we would love them and spending $67 on shoes you may or may not love is something us pinups on a budget can't currently do. So what did we do? We searched for deals! Paola scoured the internet and came across a pair on eBay, they were brand new in box and only $20! Kyra found hers on Zulily (you might remember that Zulily is where we get our other cute t-straps) for around $35! Therefore don't worry if you can't afford the shoes full price there are other ways to spend less and look as cute! Plus it doesn't matter how much you spend on them because they're definitely worth the price. These iones are cute, comfortable and come in a rainbow assortment of colors. Whats not to love?
