If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, savory or sweet..what would it be? For us it be sweet, there's no doubt about it. Sweet things are our comfort foods whether it be ice cream ,a chocolate bar, warm plate of cookies or even a big ol slice of cake. We put the term sweet tooth to good use. Whenever we've had a long day or want to celebrate the first thing we do is think,"what are we going to bake today"? It probably doesn't help that Anna both our dear friend (and Paola's twin sister) wants to be a pastry chef someday. That seems to just add fuel to the fire and when she makes them just for you out of the kindness of your heart you can't say no can you ? (We're weak for sweets it seems!)We're still kids at heart there no denying it and sweets are one of the simple pleasures in life that never gets old. Somedays we still feel we're like kids in candy stores gawking at all the options,eyes wide open and mouths watering at the mere grandeur of it all. We're so enamored by sweets that we have them at least once a week if not more. (Is there a sweetsaholic anonymous group out there? We may need to enlist) So for this weeks theme we decided to play up to our childish and whimsical sides by dressing up in outfits inspired by sweets. That means plenty of novelty prints and diverse color palettes. You are what you eat, is coming to life in this post for sure and we hope you enjoy it.

We hope you enjoyed this weeks edition of outfit recaps, we were pleasantly surprised by the outcome of this. We actually found this inspiration whilst eating sweets (no surprise there right?) and thought it be a fun challenge to see what we could use in our wardrobe to incorporate them.When it comes to finding ways to inspire yourself you should look under your nose! As in what you eat for instance , use the colors of your favorite sweets to inspire an outfit that everyone will be eating up. Let's say chocolate donuts with icing and sprinkles is your favorite ,wear a brown skirt or maybe brown shoes and a multicolored top. It is fairly simple to find inspiration in the oddest places! It doesn't have to be an exact match for it either thats what inspiration is all about you just take aspects of what inspires you and make it all your own.
