Fabulous frocks recap : Week # 6 Just a bit Pastel

In honor of the first week of spring as well as Easter we decided it was only fitting to wear pastels! We're no strangers to holidays in fact as you'll soon see we love them so much we dedicate whole weeks to dressing for them (We just relish any occasion to dress up honestly). Now this was not a HUGE challenge for us because we quite fancy pastels, they just scream spring and Easter! We also happen to really love spring so this theme was one we were really looking forward too. Florals also seem to fit the bill but we were still on a sweets kick from last weeks outfit recap thus we decided to do colors instead. However staying full pastel (as in pastel head to toe, like the easter bunny threw up on you) was a lot easier said than done. As much as we love pastels we don't carry a lot in our wardrobes or enough that really fit the look we were going for. So we decided to make it easier for others and ourselves and do outfits that incorporate pastels as well as other colors for those who want to channel their Spring/Easter spirit but don't have all pastel outfits. Besides when everyone thinks Easter/ spring they think bright, vibrant colors and pastels right?

Now for those of you who celebrate Easter we hope you had a wonderful time and for those who don't we still hope you enjoyed your weekend. You can at least rejoice about the beginning of spring which means warmer weather is in the air (we're being hopeful right ?)  and the flowers are abloom. We hope you enjoyed this weeks edition of outfit recaps and got some fun color ideas to put some spring in your step and outfits. (yes we did really just go there haha). We had a good time putting these outfits together and realizing just how much color is actually in our wardrobe. If you have any comments, questions or concerns feel free to comment below and we'll do our best to reply as soon as possible.
As always thank you for reading ,

May your days be filled with pretty dresses, dapper clothes and a lot of happiness .

  2. Aww, you two are always so cute!! I think pastels are so pretty and feminine but I don't feel I can pull them off so I tend to choose dark, bold or bright shades. I think I need a little more pink or lavender in my life!!
