Even warriors and mermaids wear brooches! We're donning these lovely brooches to bring honor to our families both on land and under the sea. (See what we did there? Disney references never get old in our book). In this blog post we are showing off some new brooches from Ambrosia bowl and decided to do a look inspired by the two characters! Paola chose an Ariel brooch while Kirsten chose a Mulan brooch, each princess has a different personality and these brooches show that off! Ariel is a fun loving young woman with a huge heart and a sense of humor (shown in the brooch). Mulan is a young woman who breaks down boundaries and doesn't give a care what people think of her (she looks like she is face palming in the brooch which shows her sass). These are two of our absolute favorite characters so when Erin from theambrosiabowl told us she wanted to collaborate, i.e send us brooches in exchange for an honest and thorough blog review we couldn't be more thrilled. We feel like a broken record saying this bit but we always want to address it for new and old followers alike, yes we received this pieces in exchange for a review but that in no ways affects our opinions on them. All thoughts here are entirely our owns and we strive to bring the best and most honest reviews we can. (We make the golden rule a priority here and we're not afraid to show it). Now the decision of which brooches to receive was made in lieu of her incredible new collection so it definitely wasn't an easy one, but we ultimately chose the princesses who we felt the most connection with personality wise and we're so glad we did.

Review
We recently received some beautiful handmade brooches by Ambrosa Bowl and decided to do a review and in true Thehepburnmovement fashion we had to dress up! (By this we mean theme outfits of course, is there anything better?) WE ARE HUGE SUCKERS FOR CUTE PACKAGING! We cannot express our happiness enough when we open up a package and you can see the time and effort that was taken to make it seem like a personalized gift to you. Yes Erin sends out dozens of her brooches on the daily but its the small little touches that made it seem like these were hand picked just for us. We loved the cute little envelope they came in,adorned with a sweet note and that she includes tea in every order (as huge tea aficionados this was a wonderful surprise). This is one of the many reasons why we just love little small businesses so much more because you truly feel like they care, you can see it in every piece they make down to the very last detail.
These brooches are amazing, they are made of wood and are hand painted (neither of us knew they were wood until we got them so that was a pleasant surprise). Now don't be scared by the term "made of wood" we can assure you that they are by no means heavier than your regular brooch. In fact these are lighter than our erstwilder pieces by a great deal. So no annoying weighing down of your top or dress, no dragging or pulling that causes a deeper pin hole.(THIS IS A GODSEND TO US, especially since brooches are one of the only ways we accessorize). These brooches are very unique, they are the only wood brooches in our collection and the only brooches that portray these amazing princesses with emotions! Erin did an amazing job at capturing their likeness, the colors are so vibrant and beautiful you can tell what they are from a mile away.
They look exactly the same as they do in the pictures on her Etsy page, Facebook and Instagram. No photoshop or editing require to show off how incredible they are. The brooches are amazingly detailed and photograph beautifully, which can be an issue with some other brooches in our collection so this is definitely a plus for us. They have a bar pin fascinator on the back, which is very common and easy to maneuver. They are on the pricier side of the brooch spectrum in our collection, totaling at $22 plus shipping from Sweden but we definitely think they're worth every penny. The price reflects the amount of love and time that Erin pours into these beautiful pieces and we can't wait to buy some of our own,to support such a wonderful small business. All in all we give these brooches 10/10 for incredibly cute packaging, for those sweet extra personal touches, for durability and design and for amazing color! We don't have anything left to say except you need to get your hands on some of her beautiful pieces right now!

We hope you enjoyed our fourth brooch review, we've come to the realization that these are our favorites to do because planning outfits around them is such a treat. Especially when they include some of our favorite princesses. This is our second collaboration (you can see our first one Here), but first with Erin and we couldn't be more honored that she chose us. Her pieces are simply magical and deserve all the recognition. We love that Erin pays homage to lesser known characters as well as scenes that others don't portray normally. The images chosen on our brooches are conversation starters for sure and are immediately recognized by Disney fanatics as well as just the casual disney watchers. They become the focal point of any outfit due to their vibrancy and uniqueness. We hope this review cleared up any questions or doubts you had about these brooches and you're now filled with a sense of relief and a strange desire to shop (See what we did there? Its magic we tell you or you know the power of suggestion). If you still have any comments, questions or concerns feel free to comment below and if you'd like to collaborate with us, whether it be as a blogger or as a company just click one of the social media icons on the side bar to get in touch with us or comment here and we'll reply ASAP!
As always thanks for reading ,
May your days be filled with pretty dresses + or dapper clothes and a lot of happiness
