Oh the places we will go

For those of you who have been following us on social media for a long time you probably know that our love of novelty prints knows no end. You hardly catch us in solids by themselves and if you do its probably one of the very few in our possesion. Theres just something about novelty prints that speak to us.

We were particularly drawn to these because they featured some of our favorite places around the world, that someday in the near future (hopefully..a girl can dream can't she?) we'd love to visit together. We have also developed a deep appreciation for vibrant ,warm colors and these fit the bill perfectly.

These pieces also happened to be ones we've spent forever pining over but were never able to get due to the hefty price tag. However we never let money keep us from getting pretty dresses so we devised plans to get them. Unfortunately when we finally scraped up enough money, they were gone and had become  nearly impossible to find. Being the mildly novelty print obsessed gals we were , we decided we weren't gong to give up without a fight so we began the frantic search. Upon pure luck we stumbled across some Facebook BST pages and were able to score our "unicorns"(highly coveted rare items we CAN'T live without..or at least we'd rather not) well below retail and much closer to a comfortable price range. We were ecstatic and knew that a blog post had to be made to celebrate this occasion.

The weather here in central florida has been a little all over the place as of lately one day its 40 degrees the next its in the high 90s. This makes it a bit more difficult to meticulously plan our outfits (in reality we plan the night or day of and hope that it looks good, but lets keep the mystery alive shall we?). We've been working on wearing light layers to try and combat the rapid weather change. Swing dresses are perfect for this because they aren't close fitting and allow your skin to breathe while being easy to layer onto and under with a petticoat if needed.

I am wearing a size two in this dress and it definitely ran smaller. I am normally a size zero(extra small) and it doesn't hang off me. It's nothing a belt and nice bra can't fix though! The fit and design is impeccable and incredibly flattering on every silhouette. Add in our favorite feature on a dress POCKETS !! (Yes pockets are amazing we know) & a full skirt it's like happiness in a bottle. Yes both dresses have pockets + it just doesn't get better than that .They call them lipstick pockets but we can put our iPhones in there and then some, they're quite spacious and handy. For those who don't want to carry a purse simply for lipstick and your phone it's the perfect option.
I (Kirsten) am wearing a size small and it fits like a glove. No alterations needed here add in the matching belt and it couldn't be any more perfect. It's the most flattering cut of a Bernie on me and I am glad I went with it.
These dresses did not disappoint the gorgeous print and vibrancy of them were even better than we ever dreamed of and boy did we dream of them.

If you have any questions regarding fit feel free to ask! We don't bite unless provoked and even then we do our best not to leave a mark.
 Thanks for reading as always,
May your days be filled with pretty dresses and a lot of happiness .
